Gary Sorrentino serves as Zoom’s Global CIO, after spending over two years as our Global Deputy CIO. A former Managing Director for J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management, Gary was the Global Head of Client Cyber Awareness and Education.
For over 12 years, Gary was the Chief Technology Officer for J.P. Morgan AWM’s global technology infrastructure initiatives, where he managed its Data Privacy program and was responsible for Infrastructure, Application and End User Technology Production Support. In 2014, he assumed a new role as the lead for their Cybersecurity efforts and developed a firm wide “Protect the Client” Cyber program designed to raise cybersecurity awareness among employees and clients.
With almost 40 years of experience in Information Technology, Gary has served in various other IT leadership positions in firms across the financial services industry. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2005, Gary was Head of Global Infrastructure and Head of Technology Efficiencies at Citi Private Bank, where he was responsible for Global Infrastructure Support and strategic technology initiatives. Other roles he has held include Global Technology CFO at Credit Suisse and North America IT Controller at UBS
Scott Brown leads Zoom’s Customer Experience team which includes Zoom Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) offer and the recently acquired Solvvy conversational artificial intelligence capabilities. Scott and team are laser focused on providing digital customer experiences which ultimately deliver higher NSAT, reduce customer churn, and increase the lifetime value of customers. Zoom Customer Experience is an integral element of Zoom’s platform positioning and the unification of all communication modalities.
Prior to joining Zoom Scott Brown Served as the SVP of Cisco’s Global Collaboration Sales and Go-to-Market organization and was responsible for the Collaboration product sales specialists, inside sales, pre-sales engineering, channel and ecosystem strategy, and routes to market. Collaboration is one of Cisco’s most competitive market segments and this $6B business was a critical part of the company’s overall SaaS transformation plan.
Scott joined Cisco from Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he led the global Go-to-Market teams for the Productivity Applications portfolio, which included Amazon Chime, Amazon Connect, the End User Computing (EUC) services of WorkSpaces, Appstream, WorkDocs, among many other services. Scott was the first hire on the Amazon Connect Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) Go-To-Market team and grew that business to become the fastest growing service in the history of AWS.
As a founding member of the Microsoft Unified Communications Incubation team, Scott spent 13 years at Microsoft where he helped launch the Lync platform globally, oversaw the acquisition of Skype and helped build Skype for Business into a $2B+ operation. He started his career at the Gallup Organization, building and managing contact centers around the globe.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nebraska, where he was also an ROTC Honor Graduate. He served in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of the Nebraska Army National Guard.
Over the last 20 years, Mark has been working in the collaboration, networking, and security industries. He started off in sales engineering for Tandberg, a video collaboration (Rooms) company. Later he transitioned to Cisco via acquisition, selling their broader portfolio. Mark now runs the Zoom Rooms Sales Team covering North American and LATAM.
Robin Bunevich is a Product Marketing Manager at Zoom Communications. She oversees marketing and product strategy for Zoom Events and Webinars. Prior to Zoom, she ran the marketing team for live events at The New York Times, and was instrumental in helping the organization transition to a virtual events program in March 2020. At Zoom, Robin uses her 15 plus years of marketing and event experience to drive new audiences for Zoom’s virtual event solutions.
Josh Stanley joined Zoom in April 2019 and has been a part of bringing Zoom Phone to market from its infancy to now over 4+ million users. Josh leads Sales Strategy for Zoom Contact Center, focusing on expanding the product line, capturing new routes to market, and improving processes to capture greater market share. Prior to Zoom, Josh spent 9 years at Cisco in sales, leadership, and partner development roles. Prior to Cisco Josh spent 9 years managing a contact center at Merrill Lynch.
